The family of SGT Clinton K. Ruiz, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany them, and honor this Hero on the one year anniversary of his death.   SGT Ruiz's father, Tony Ruiz, PGR member and member of American Legion Riders 852 will lead a memorial ride from Murrieta to Rosecrans Cemetery.   He will have a small memorial and lay a Wreath at his final resting place.   We will have two staging areas should you chose to ride with the family or only do the memorial in San Diego. 

SGT Ruiz was part of 9th Military Information Support Battalion (Airborne), 8th Military Information Support Group (Airborne). He was stationed out of Fort Bragg, N.C. His unit was attacked in Khas Uruzgan, Oruzgan Province, Afghanistan OCT 25, 2012.

Please join us in Honoring this American Hero and his family.

NOTE:  This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying his family from the Murrieta to his final resting place.  Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
