Per request of one of our own PGR members Louie Perez and the family of Antonio Lemos Lopez have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this Hero for his service to our Country. It will be our honor to do so.

Antonio L. Lopez was born at home in Los Angeles on 25 September 1946 and was raised by his grandmother on their farm. Antonio entered Eternal Rest at the age of 68 years old on 15 September 2015.

Antonio proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1965 to 1969 during the Vietnam War having served two tours of duty in country.  Antonio was a convoy truck driver while in the military and when he was honorably discharged as a Corporal he became a convoy truck driver instructor for the Marine Corps.

Antonio enjoyed many hobbies, which included coin, stamp and football card collections. He enjoyed going to the shooting range and on an annual basis Antonio would go hunting in New Mexico.

Antonio is survived by his wife of forty years Viola and his three brothers Henry, Robert and Frank. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
