It is our esteemed honor to have the privilege of participating in the service of US Air Force Veteran Charles W. Johnson III. In response to the gracious invitation by his family, the Patriot Guard Riders have the opportunity to show our respect and appreciation to this hero for his service and sacrifice to his country.

Charles Johnson proudly served in the US Air Force from 1956 to 1960. He earned the rank of First Lieutenant at time of discharge.

Following military service, Mr. Johnson found a career as a Los Angeles County Probation Officer. Charles true passion in life centered around the love and devotion to his family.

Charles Johnson is survived by wife Margarita, sister Jan, daughter Lisa, son Richard, and 3 grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission, go to the staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please ride/drive safely.
