The family of Billy Burke Albright Jr. has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Billy served in the US Army from 1969 to 1971.  He was a combat veteran of the Vietnam War, service for which he was awarded two Purple Hearts.

In civilian life Billy was a truck driver.  For fun he loved to ride his Polaris RZR in the desert.  On what would be his last trip to the desert Billy crashed his RZR and tragically, succumbed to his injuries.   The family and the PGR mourn the loss of this American hero.

Billy is survived by a large family including his spouse, Tonyia, daughter Terri, sons Jerry, Chad, Chris and Cory, sister Sharon, 10 grandchildren and his father, US Navy and WWII veteran, Billy Burke Albright Sr.

The family has requested an accompaniment from Billy’s childhood home in El Cajon to Miramar National Cemetery, a distance of approximately 17 miles.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying this hero and family from the family home to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
