The family of Tobias F. Santarelli has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.
1st LT Tobias Santarelli served his country during WWII as a flight instructor from 1942 through 1945. He was in the Central Training Command serving primarily in Texas and Oklahoma. He taught flight in Open Cockpit, single engine and dual engine planes. He told the story of teaching in an open cockpit plane during the winter and both he and the trainee were almost frozen solid! After Training, he spent the remainder of his service as a radar technician.
After the war Tobias was a high school counselor for 30 years and affected the lives of thousands of students. He also was an avid golfer. He spent the remainder of his life playing with his grand kids and great grand kids.
1st LT Santarelli is survived by his wife of almost 70 years, Lorraine, his son Tj, daughters Diane and Lisa, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
