James Clement Marek Mission, Pearl Harbor Survivor.
I received a phone call from Charles Bailey/El Cajon Mortuary. He called to let us know that Elaine Marek/widow was very pleased with the Patriot Guard presence in honoring her husband James Marek. She was overwhelmed with emotion when she saw flag line. She wanted to thank everyone of us but due to the emotion of the moment it was too much for her. She called Charles requesting that he contact us and express her appreciation for what we do. Charles also expressed his appreciation and was impressed with the manner in which we honor our veterans. He stated that he looks forward with working with us in the future. I thanked him and stated that I would get his and Elaine’s words out the membership.
