The family of Benny V. Cadena, 93, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in the services of their loved one and to honor this American Hero; we are honored to do so.
Mr. Cadena enlisted in the U.S. Army on June 14, 1943. He fought in the Philippine Islands where he was wounded and lost his eye sight. He attained the rank of PFC and was honorably discharged on March 27, 1945. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart and Silver Star.
As a civilian he went to college to become a Physical Therapist. He worked as a volunteer teacher at the Braille Institute for the Blind for twenty years then to retirement.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle. He is survived by six children – Alicia, Arturo, Eionecio, Gregory, Mario, and Cherie; two sisters - Vera and Jenny, and 19 grandchildren and great grandchildren

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car)
