The family of Robert Emory Smith, 90, USN, WWII, VET, have invited the Patriot Guard To honor their loved one on his final journey.  We are honored to accept this invitation.

Mr. Robert Smith, is the Grandfather of Jacob Snow, a new PGR Member who has been on several missions with us. 

Mr. Robert Smith, Enlisted into the Navy in 1944 and trained as an Aviation Ordnanceman Striker.  He was discharged in 1946 after WWII, being awarded the  World war two Victory Medal.

After his discharge, Mr. Smith  was a Trained Sheet Metal Worker, he continued working and started his own business in the city of Orange and had contracts with Boeing and Disneyland. He was an avid fishermen he loved carving, reading, metal working and woodworker.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church services to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
