The family of
Ernest Keith Gidney has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard to Honor their loved one. It will be our Honor to do so.
This request has come in from Keith’s son, Mike who is also a Patriot Guard Rider.
Keith, as he liked to be called by his friends, served in the United States Navy in Vietnam from 26 Oct 1965 to 10 Oct 1969.
After his service in the Navy Keith went into the trucking industry where he worked for 30 yrs. In his off time he loved to play and just hang out with all his Grandchildren.
Keith loved all sports but mainly football. Being as Keith was from Pennsylvania he was a big "Steelers" fan. All of the memorabilia that he could get for the Steelers Keith is said to have owned.
Keith leaves behind his wife: Diane, his 2 children: Mike Palmer & Larry Fritzam, Grandson: Mike Palmer Jr., Great- Great Grandson: Jonathon, and one brother: Berry Gidney.
Note: There will be no service at the church. We will be meeting the family in the back parking lot. There is also a Christian School that will be in session on the premises. If you are stopped at the gate let them know you are there for Keith Gidney service, they are expecting us, they will wave you thru.NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
