!!! UPDATE !!! MORTUARY LOCATION HAS CHANGED/SEE UPDATED TIME TABLE BELOW !!!The family and the US Army have invited the PGR to meet the arrival of PFC Jeremiah S. Holmes, 24, as he returns home to his family.
PFC Jeremiah Holmes enlisted in the US Army in April 2016. After basic training he was assigned to Ft Bragg, NC where he became a cannon crewmember assigned to Bravo Battery, 1st Battalion, 319th Field Artillery Regiment, 82nd Airborne. He was recently promoted to PFC in the presence of his fellow soldiers of Loyalty Company.
His awards and decorations include the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terror Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon and the Parachutist Badge. He has been posthumously awarded the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal and the Army Good Conduct Medal.
PFC Holmes tragically perished in a motorcycle accident off base.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the airport to the mortuary. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the mortuary, we will meet you there.

This mission involves an aircraft arrival. Arrival times can change at the last minute so please check this thread for any last minute changes before leaving. You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
