The US Navy and the family of HM3 Jonathan L. Zuniga, 24, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present for this Hero's funeral service and military honors.  We would be honored to do so.

HM3 Jonathan L. Zuniga enlisted in the US Navy in mid 2014 and trained as a Hospital Corpsman so that he could devote his military career to saving lives.  Sadly, he lost his own life while rock climbing on his off time in the mountains of Idyllwild on 06 Sept 2017.  While returning on the trail he was hit by a rock slide and fell to his death.

HM3 Zuniga was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, the "War Dogs", at the Marine Base MCAGCC at Twentynine Palms, they were preparing for deployment at the time of Zuniga's passing.

Jonathan is survived by his wife Leah, 3 yr old son Trevor, an unborn daughter, his parents Sandra and Louis, and 3 brothers.
