The family of Allen Quinn Sr, 84, & Rose Marie Quinn, 81, (husband & wife) have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor these Heroes, we would be honored to do so. Allen just recently passed, Rose Marie passed two years ago and her ashes were held by the family so that they could be buried together.
Allen Quinn Sr & his wife Rose Marie Quinn both served in the U.S. Army. They met while in the Army, fell in love and married.
Allen served from 13 Dec 54 to 12 Dec 56, he served stateside with the 51st Chemical Co, and was honorably discharged at the rank of PFC.
Rose Marie served from Sept 1956 through November 1956 and was honorably discharged at the rank of Pvt.
After the military Allen was a Teamster and a truck driver by trade and worked for many companies prior to retirement. Upon retirement he continued working several part-time jobs but also became very involved in the community in Orange County. He was a member of the Garden Grove Elks Lodge for years where he served in many capacities and worked with underprivileged children.
Rose Marie was mostly involved in raising their 4 children in the early years, but then later joined her husband in community service. She also was involved with the GG Elks Lodge and together they volunteered as Clowns and for the Christmas programs.
They also together founded the Quilters & Tillers 4H group in Huntington Beach, continuing to work with children. Rose Marie was also the founding member of Friends of Guide Dogs for the Blind, an organization who raised and trained puppies to provide guide dogs to the blind. To better serve this group Rose Marie learned to read & type in braille. The whole Quinn family was involved in fostering and training many puppies over the years. Rose Marie also began a career of her own as a controller for Best Products in Westminster where she worked for 20 years.
Both Allen and Rose Marie were also very involved with youth sports and their children's schools in many volunteer positions as their children were growing up.
Allen and Rose Marie are survived by four children, Mary Catherine, Allen Jr., Dennis & William, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
