Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to honor US Army Richard Castro Huerta, for his service , we will be honored to do so.

Richard Castro Huerta was born June 21 1949 in Brawley California and entered into rest December 2 2017 in Norwalk California.

Richard was the eldest of six children and was a alter boy in his youth. He was drafted into the US Army in 1969 . After Two years on active duty, Richard served for 38 more years in the Army Reserve with a Honorable Discharge. Richard also worked for Saint Gobain / Foster Forbes glass division for 29 years, He was also married for 27 years before divorcing.   

His hobbies included going to the movies and watching classic movies. He also loved going to classic car shows to see low riders and Hot Rods. Richard had a sense of humor.

Richard is survived by his loving family; daughters Clair and Holly ,one granddaughter three sister’s a brother and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to the cemetery. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
