The family of Ernest S Vega have requested the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the funeral for their loved one, it would be our honor to do so.
Ernesto served his country for 20 years, [68-88] obtaining a Honorable Discharge with the rank of PO2
After retiring from the Navy, Ernesto worked for the VA in Long Beach as a Shipping and Receiving personnel. He then worked as a Car Salesmen for various car dealership and then opened a used car dealership. He enjoyed going to parties and spending time with family. His PRIDE and JOY were babysitting his grandkids and travelling to the Philippines to visit family members. Ernesto was happily married to his first love and high school sweetheart Evangelina Mallari Vega for approximately 35 years.
Our hero is survived by his wife Evangelina, two sons Michael and Dennis also a daughter Angelica. Plus seven grandchildren and numerous loved ones.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the funeral services to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
