The family of Michael Francis Larkin has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Michael was born in St. Louis, Missouri on 10 June 1927 and entered into Eternal Rest on 14 December 2017.

Michael entered the U.S. Air Corps in July 1945. One of his first duty stations was Tulle Bay, Greenland and then was assigned Harmon Field, Newfoundland where he met the love of his life, Charlotte.

Michael’s career took him to bases in Michigan, Texas, Guam, New Mexico, Riverside, California and Seoul, Korea.

Michael’s awards/citations included the Air Force Commendation Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, the Meritorious Service Medal and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.

After his retirement from the Air Force, Michael began a second career with the Riverside District Attorney’s Office, Family Support Unit. Michael retired in 1993 as Deputy Chief Family Support Officer.

After his retirement, Michael and Charlotte spent almost every moment together. Michael loved to read on a variety of subjects. He loved a good book, a cup of tea and a cookie.

Michael was preceded in death by Charlotte, his wife of sixty-two years, his brother Raymond, his son Randall and grandson John. Michael leaves behind his sons Michael, Ray and Tony and daughters Sheri, Beverly, Corrie and Judy and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
