The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the commanding officer of a U.S. Army Unit that is deploying in support of OEF to be present at their deployment ceremony, we would be honored to be there.
This unit is composed of Army Mariners, specialized soldiers. The command will be having a ceremony to honor them, wishing them well, and hoping for a safe return, we will do a Flag Line in that spirit.
Please bring your smiles, handshakes, thank yous and flags and be prepared to render a respectful salute to these brave soldiers.
!!!NOTE!!!VERY IMPORTANT!!!: Because this will take place on a Naval base the CO needs a list of the names of all PGR members who plan to attend by Friday, 1000. Please email your name that matches your picture ID to the RC Weldon German weldongerman@gmail.com (retired military are exempt but must show Military ID) must be done ASAP!!! NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these American Heroes.

Each motorcycle rider should have registration, proof of insurance. You should also wear hard sole shoes, long pants, full-fingered gloves, a long sleeve outer garment, eye protection, and a DOT helmet. A brightly colored reflective vest is no longer needed but recommended. Have your I.D. ready when you arrive at the gate.You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
