!!! CORRECTION !!! THIS MISSION IS TUESDAY/13 FEB 18

The family and the U S Marine Corps have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the funeral service of an American Hero, MGySgt Gerardo "Ace" Acevedo, age 52, we would be honored to do so.

Gerardo Acevedo enlisted in the U S Marine Corps on April 22, 1991, he served nearly 27 years until his passing on Feb 3, 2018.  He attained the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant, no easy feat.  He is spoken of by his Marines, both those above him and below him as being a rare leader of men, who mentored others, and could always be depended on.  He served many deployments with the Corps, both in Iraq and Afghanistan.  His last assignment was with III Marine Expeditionary Force, G-4 MTC.

He will be missed by many, his family, both blood and Marine, and all those who knew this great man and great Marine!

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church services to his final resting place.
