The family and the US Marine Corps have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their Hero, LCpl David M. Gonzalez, 20 yrs of age, with an accompany and Flag Lines of honor, it will be our privilege to do so.
LCpl David M. Gonzalez grew up in Yucaipa, California and graduated from Yucaipa High School. He also attended Summit College in Colton, CA where he took classes to learn welding.
Shortly after graduating high school, David enlisted in the Marine Corps in September, 2016. He was assigned to Marine Tactial Air Command Squadron 38 as a small arms repair technician when he sadly passed away at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar.
David was a sports fan, his favorite teams were the Green Bay Packers, St Louis Cardinals and Orlando Magic. He also loved cars, the faster the better, one of his favorite movies was Fast and the Furious.
David is survived by his parents, siblings, and a large extended family. He was a great young man who was making his family proud, he will be forever missed and remembered.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero from the mortuary to the cemetery and back to the mortuary. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
