The family of Eliseo Arturo Garcia has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders as he is laid to rest.  Eliseo passed away a year-and-a-half ago due to a motorcycle accident and is now being interred at Riverside National Cemetery.  It will be our honor to stand a flag line for this hero.

Eliseo entered the United States Army in August 2010 and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant (E5) in January 2017.  He served in Afghanistan from December 2011 to August 2012.  He received several awards and commendations including the Afghanistan Campaign Medal w/ campaign star; Army Commendation Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Overseas Service Ribbon; NATO Medal; Parachutist Badge.

After his time in the Army, Eliseo went to work for Crisis24 working in private security and also worked in the air conditioning industry.

Eliseo loved riding his motorcycles, filming his motorcycle adventures, and spending time with his family and friends.

Our hero is survived by his parents, Jose and Jackie Garcia; two daughters, 13 and 5; and one brother and two sisters.

You do not have to be a veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission.  All PGR members are welcome.  We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car.  If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our heroes.  No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service.  Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum.  Observe the 15 MPH speed limit.  Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground.  Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
