The family of Joe Jesse Ramirez, has invited The Patriot Guard Rider to honor their Hero. We are proud and honored to do so.

Joe was born May 7, 1932, in San Bernardino, California. He passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 in the comfort of his home at the age of 85.

Mr. Ramirez joined the United States Army on 1 September 1950 at the age of 17. He served during the Korean War with the MOS of 5832, warehouseman.  Joe earned the following decorations with the 40th Infantry Division: UN Service Medal, Korean Service Medal with 1 Bronze Star, and Army Occupation Medal (Japan) He was honorably discharged from active duty on 10 July 1952 with the rank of Private First Class.

Following his service to his country, he retired as a Machinist/Welder. In his free time time he enjoyed Fishing, Hunting, and Golfing.
 
He is survived by his lovely and loving wife of 59 years, Eleanor D. Ramirez. 4 children, Jeanne Ramirez/Anguiano, Jeanette Guerrero, Joe Ramirez, Jr., Ana Maria Flores. 4 Grandchildren, Nicholas Guerrero, Stephanie Guerrero, Andrew Anguiano,  Jimmy Flores. 1 Great Grandchild, Aaron Ibarra. 1 Brother, George Ramirez.
 
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from a chapel service to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
