The Family of Alan Dean Clow has requested the Patriot Guard to honor this American Hero for his military service and public service to our Country. It will be out Honor to do so.
Alan Dean Clow, born June 16, 1956 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Alan later moved to Lake Forest. During his life which was a very busy life, Alan finished High School and at that time decided he would join the Army and better serve his Country.
Alan was always known as a comic and loved to make people laugh. Most of the time his friends would call him "ADC" a combination of all 3 of his initials. It seem to make him stand out in the crowd of friends that he had. You could always here his great laugh and it was hard to miss that big smile. Alan was always a man of service to the people around him and the community he loved.
After Alan's 3 yr stint in the Army receiving an Honorable Discharge and recognition for time served, Alan decided it was time to go into law enforcement. Alan was in law enforcement for 6 years before he decided he wanted to become an investigator.
Alan did that for 22 yrs, and became an defense investigator for the Orange County Public Defenders Office.
Alan also served as the Vice President on the Orange County Employees Association’s Board of Directors and was passionate about helping all people.
Alan loved to hang out with his family. He loved motorcycles, and golfing, traveling with his friends and family and telling stories. His favorite team was the L.A. Chargers. Alan also loved his two buddies, and best friends his dogs, June-bug, and Winston. . He loved his dogs, and anyone that knew him accepted his dog-haired car and the fact they would be with him
Alan passed away tragically on February 21, 2018 in Lake Forest, California.
He is survived by his wife Serafina, Sons, Jonathan and Jordan, Dogs, June-bug and Winston.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
