The family of Richard Franden, known as "Jigsaw" by friends and family, have asked the Patriot Guard Riders to pay Honors on their hero's final journey home. It will be our honor to do so.

Richard was 66 years old at the time of his death. He was born December 15, 1951, and passed on February 26, 2018.

Richard was a member of the United States Army from 1970 to 1978. He was a mechanic with the 94th Engineer Battalion stationed at Fort Ord, Ca and later reassigned to the US Army Garrison in Darmstadt, Germany. He attained the rank of Sergeant.

After his discharge he worked with the MTA for 36 years until his retirement last year.

Richard loved his Honda Goldwing, and he loved riding with his wife, Paula.

He is survived by his wife Paula, son David, daughter Juley, 2 brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.
