The family of Pvt. Patrick Armando Vega, USMC, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his final Military Honors. It will be our honor and privilege to do so.
Patrick had just enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on March 12, 2018. This had been a lifelong dream of his. While in his second week of Basic Training, on March 24, 2018, Patrick passed unexpectedly.
Patrick grew up in Oxnard, CA, attending Oxnard High School. He was a member of both the swim and water polo teams. He was also a swimming instructor who wouldn’t hesitate to come in early or work late to help others learn to swim.
Patrick is survived by a large extended family, including his father, mother and a sister.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
