The family of James Emmett Rogers has invited the SoCal PGR to attend the funeral service for their loved one.  It is our honor to do so.

James Emmett Rogers joined the Army and served from Sept. 1950-June 1952.  He was a Supply Truck Driver during the Korean War.  He was honorably discharged from the Army as a Private First Class with the National Defense Medal and the Korean War Medal.

After his service, he worked for National Cash Register and helped developed one of the first commercial computers.  He continued his work in electronics as an engineer and a draftsman throughout his career. He was the President of Nano Pulse Industries which worked from sites in Orange, CA, Hong Kong and Taiwan.  In the 1990’s he became a small business owner selling CAD Software.

Jim volunteered at the OC Global Hospital, was involved with the Southern California Blue Bird Club, the Orange Plaza Patriots and the Rotary Club.

One of the highlights of his later life was going back to Korea with his grandson as part of the Korea Revisit Program.

James is survived by his wife, Dottie, his brother Bob, his sister Glenda, sons Bill and Paul and his daughters Sheryl, Cindy and KC.  He leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
