The family of Master Chief Avionics Technician Joseph Sablan Borja has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

ACVM Joseph Barja, 59, a native of Guam, proudly served his country in the US Navy for 30 years (1974 to 2004).  A Master Chief Avionics Technician, E-9, ACVM Joseph’s last duty assignment was aboard the Forrestal-class Supercarrier, USS Ranger (CV-61).

The family has requested an accompaniment from St John of the Cross Catholic Church in Lemon Grove to this hero's final resting place, Miramar National Cemetery.

Note:  This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.  For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero from the church service to the cemetery.  Please see the time table if you would like to participate.  For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
