The family of PGR member Ronda Ebeling has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend her funeral service, we will be honored to do so.

Ronda Christine Ebeling, age 23, was a member of the PGR and attended many missions as a member, but also as a funeral professional.  Ronda worked for Wiefels & Son Mortuary in Yucca Valley and very often was the coach driver on many early morning missions entrusted with the care of many Active Duty Marines as they were traveling to Los Angeles International Airport for departure to their home and family.  She completed this duty with sacred care and consideration for the Hero and their families.  She was one of the best of the best in completing the task she had been given. She also very often was the person who picked these Heroes up when they were released by Balboa Hospital in San Diego, or by the coroner's office, and carried them in the coach to the mortuary in Yucca Valley, with reverence and respect.

Ronda was a young woman who had already filled her brief years with more than many do in a lifetime.  She was an adventurous spirit, and in her off time could be found usually in the outdoors doing things she loved, like rock climbing, cave exploring, hiking, seeking out old historical sites. In her own words she was a cowgirl and a trekkie.  She was also a rock hound, and loved animals.  Ronda was known for taking in all kinds of animals who were in need of special care and nursing them back to health and then, if possible, releasing them back into the wild.  At the time of her passing she had been fostering a baby quail.

Ronda was also an actress and model who aspired to greater success in the video and film industry. She had also done work as a stunt woman. She was very determined and ambitious and who knows how far she would have gone with this had she had the opportunity.

Sadly, Ronda was taken way too soon.  She will be missed by all who knew her, her mother and father, her family of course, her PGR family as well, her coworkers, and the many, many friends in her community that admired and loved her.  She was an inspiration to many with her positive attitude and beautiful smile, and a blessing to all who knew her.  She will be missed and never forgotten.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this PGR Member. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying Ronda and her family from the mortuary to the church services and back to the mortuary. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the church, we will meet you there.
