The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the commanding officer of the U.S. Army, 730th Transportation Company to be present at their deployment ceremony and we would be honored to be there.
The Transportation Corps is a combat service support branch of the U.S. Army, and was headquartered at Fort Eustis, Virginia, but has now moved to Fort Lee, Virginia. The Transportation Corps is responsible for the movement of personnel and material by truck, rail, air, and sea. Its motto is "Spearhead of Logistics".
The command will be having a ceremony to honor these soldiers, wishing them well, and hoping for a safe return. We will do a Flag Line at the ceremony.
Please bring your Smiles, Handshakes, Thank You's and Flags and be prepared to render a respectful salute to these brave soldiers.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these American Heroes.
