The family of Gonzalo Romero II has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Gonzalo Romero, 66, served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 02/22/1972 to 12/4/1973.  He served with the 1st BN 4th Marine 3rd Marine Division FMF, Company D. 

For his service Gonzalo was awarded the Sharp Shooter Badge, the National Defense Service Medal, the Honorable Discharge Pin, and the Good Conduct Medal.  At the time of his honorable discharge he had attained the rank of Lance Corporal.

In his post military career Gonzalo was finance worker for 20+ Years.  His hobbies included gardening, fishing, dancing, music and football.  Gonzalo is survived by his wife, 4 children and 3 grandchildren.

The family has requested an accompaniment from the church service to Gonzalo’s final resting place, a distance of approximately 2 miles.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
