The family of Howard Batey has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Howard was born Aug 13, 1933 and was 85 years young at the time of his passing and served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 thru 1954. His rank was PFC at the time of his honorable discharge from military service, he was an Aviation Specialist while in the service. Howard was stationed at Miramar during much of his service and served in the Korea war. Howard also enlisted in the National Guard and was stationed in El Centro, California.

Howard was a truck driver during much of his civilian life and enjoyed golfing (playing and watching), motorcycles, working on old classic cars, flying and working on airplanes. He had an airplane at Flabob Airport for many years.
