The family of MGSgt Ralph Anthony Eason (Ret) has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country.   It will be our privilege to do so.

Ralph Eason, 79, served his country for 22 years in the US Marine Corps (1957 to 1959), time that included duty in Vietnam. For his service he was awarded the Vietnam War Medal, Good Conduct and Expert Pistol and Rifle.  He retired at the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant (E-9).

In his post military career, Ralph worked for the United States Postal Service for 25 years.

Ralph was a season ticket holder for the Padres and Chargers games.  He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

The family has requested an accompaniment from Eternal Hills Mortuary, Oceanside, to an 1130 committal service at Miramar National Cemetery, a distance of approximately 26 miles.

Please note that there is expected rain this day. If we can’t be there on motorcycles being there in a car for the Flag Line is very much appreciated!

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the chapel service to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
