Per request of our good friend and PGR member Gregg “Digger” Walker (Walker Family Funeral Services), the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders is requested to honor Robert James Agosto, an  American Hero and a Veteran Without Family.  It will be our honor to do so.

The PGR will be there to be the family for Robert and will stand by while military honors are rendered at Riverside National Cemetery.

Robert who had no family died in Wildomar on 26 December 2018 while riding on the Metro bus. He apparently suffered a heart attack and was taken to the Coroner’s office.

Robert was in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam from 1961 to 1965. Robert was honorably discharged as an Airman Second Class.

Robert or “Bicycle Bob” as he was known to his fellow Veterans at the American Legion Post 200 in Lake Elsinore was a quiet person who didn’t say a lot.

Robert had a wife many years ago (divorced) who together had a son Todd Robert Agosto. Todd who resides in Illinois, never knew his father declined to be responsible or connected to Robert.

Patriot Guard Riders and Post 200 American Legion Riders are invited to honor our Fallen Hero as pallbearers.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the Walker Family Funeral Chapel, Lake Elsinore to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
