The family of Jeffrey Allen Stys has invited the PGR to participate in honoring his life and service to his country. It will be a great honor to do so.

After high school graduation, Jeffrey proudly served his Country in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1971. Jeffrey was a Yeoman in the Navy and part of his duties included serving as a law clerk and court reporter at the Los Alamitos Naval Weapons Station. Jeffrey earned awards/citations that included the National Defense Service Medal. He was honorably discharged as a Yeoman Second Class (YN2/E-5).

After the military, Jeffrey worked as an accountant and comptroller for several steel companies in the Los Angeles area over his career.

Jeffrey loved his family. He was inseparable from Sharon, his wife of fifty years, a proud father and an even prouder grandfather.  His family was the most important thing to him, with the Green Bay Packers being a close second.  He enjoyed a good meal with his family, playing golf and watching the Packers, no matter if they won or lost.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife of fifty years, Sharon, his brother Brian and his three sons, Scott, Greg and Mike. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.
