The family of Salvador Vasquez has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Salvador was born April 21, 1950 and passed on April 13, 2019.  Salvador was 68 at the time of his passing.

Salvador served in the U.S. Army from 1968 thru 1974. He served his country during the Vietnam Era. His rank was Specialist 4 at the time of his exit from military service. Salvador was awarded the Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, 2 Overseas Bars, National Defense Service Medal, Sharpshooter M-14 Medal and the Expert M-16 Medal. He was a proud Army Vietnam Veteran and wore his Vietnam Veteran hat proudly.

After serving in the military, Salvador worked at Northrop Grumman Aircraft for 20 years as a Structural Mechanic, trainer and expeditor. He loved to travel with his wife and friends on cruises and watching the History and Military channels. He was a big history buff.

He leaves behind his wife Cynthia of 46 Years, 2 daughters Suzanne Parrilla (David) and Melissa Haller (David), 4 grandchildren, his mother, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
