The family of Richard D. Wright III, age 32, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor him for his military service, we would be honored to do so.

Richard Wright enlisted in the U S Marine Corps on March 24, 2008 and served until his honorable discharge on March 23, 2012. He served during Operation Enduring Freedom.  He achieved the rank of Corporal at the time of his discharge.

After the military, in recent years he went back to college and obtained his AA at Norco College, and was on the Dean's list while in school. At the time of his passing he was currently enrolled at University of California at Irvine.  He loved to play with his children.

His survivors are his 2 daughters Emalynn and Jocelynn, his mother Christine, his father Richard and his brothers Robert and Randall.

NOTE:  The PGR, led by R/C Tom Barry will accompany the Hero's urn and his family from Huntington Beach to RNC, with a missing man formation, where R/C Larry Medcraft will take over.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
