The family of Alfredo Martinez, age 74, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero to his final resting place.  It will be our honor to do so.

Alfredo served in the U.S. Army from October 26,1965 to March 09,1967, he served in the Vietnam War and was a helicopter mechanic. He was honorably discharged at the rank of E-4 and was awarded the following:  National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Sharpshooter Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Aircraft Crewman Badge.

Alfredo worked for 27 years at California Finished Metals, was a business owner of Industrial Supplies and also worked part time for Avis/Budget Rent a Car just to be able to spend his days driving. Driving, road trips and traveling were his favorite things to do.  His other hobbies were jazz, blues and oldies music, playing the guitar, bowling, keno and he even taught his daughter a lot about under the hood of a car as they rebuilt a engine together.
