I wanted to send out a special thank you to the patriot guard for attending my father’s (Larry Slycord) funeral last Thursday. It was such an honor and comfort knowing that the ladies and gentlemen that came were there for him and his family. I can’t say how deeply touched I was.
A BIG thank you for volunteering their time to do such a special and wonderful service to the veterans and law enforcement officers. I know that my dad would have been so touched as well.
Would you please forward this to Paul McCarthy and his crew for me. Again, I can’t express in words how their presence was such a comfort in a difficult time in our lives.
