The family of MCPO James G. Soellner, age 76, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present for his funeral service and Military Honors, we would be honored to do so.

James G. Soellner enlisted in the US Navy in 1962 and served as a Machinist Mate specializing in diesel engines.  He served all over the world and on many ships including during the Vietnam War.  He retired at the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer (E-9) in 1990 for a total of 28 years service to our country.

After his military career Jim went to work for Westfield Malls as an engineering technician from 1991 to 2015 when he retired again.  Jim always stayed busy in his free time fixing everything, he was a true handyman and could work on anything. He loved to remodel his home and help family members and friends do the same.  Jim was a good Kansas farm boy growing up, and deep family values were a huge part of his life, his family was everything to him.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sally, children Marilyn, Robert, Sonny and Jacqueline, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
