We received this letter from the family who asked that we share it with our members.
Dear Lillian and the PGR:
We attended Sams burial today at the Riverside National Cemetery. Thank YOU Lil for providing the connection to the Patriot Guard. They were wonderful. I did not realize how much they actually participated in the service. From saluting the arriving mourners to presenting the flags.....I thought they would lead the procession of cars into the service site, but they did MUCH more. It was a very emotional service, Sam actually was a war hero, and the presentation by the Marines and the Patriot Guard was very fitting. EVERYONE was so appreciative
