The Command of a Marine Unit have asked the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany them to San Diego for deployment. These brave men and women will be going into harm’s way.  Let's all come out and show them how much we appreciate the sacrifice they are making for all of us.  We will stand a flag line for them as appropriate at one or both locations.

NOTE:  This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Marine Unit.  For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying these Marines to their deployment site appx 30 miles.  Please see the time table below if you would like to participate.   This accompaniment involves on=base activities and the below listed requirements are mandatory.

Time table for Sunday, 06 APR 14:

0600 - Stage at Denny's, 487 Harbor Dr, CA 92054, Oceanside, CA  URL: https://goo.gl/maps/b4QKQ

0615 - Mission Briefing.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car.  If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).

This mission involves an Accompaniment to San Diego Area.  Arrival times are subject to traffic conditions.

Each motorcycle rider must have registration, and proof of insurance. Also necessary are, hard sole shoes, long pants, full-fingered gloves, a long sleeve outer garment, eye protection, and a DOT helmet.  A brightly colored reflective vest is no longer needed but recommended.  Please have your I.D. ready when you arrive at the gate.

Please post your thank yous and well wishes at this link:
