The family of Steve Michael Trujillo (63) have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany him and his family as he makes his final journey. It is our honor to do so.
Steve was born 19 Jun 1956 in Compton, California. He spent most of his childhood in Norwalk, California. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1975 during the Vietnam War era and was discharged in 1980 as a Corporal. Steve was a cook and was awarded two Meritorius Mast’s in 1977 and in 1978. One of which was for the entire Marine Corp. Steve was a fighter and a proud Marine to the very end of life.
Steve worked at Bob’s Big Boy starting as a cook and became a manager. Steve met his wife Charlye at Big Boy and they were married for 36 years. Steve also was a semi truck driver. Steve loved the water, and anything related to it, fishing, boating and swimming. He also had a deep love for animals. His childhood dog Peaches would follow him to school and stay with him at school. He also loved his 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe and enjoyed going to car shows. Steve was always happy, friendly and loved people.
Steve is survived by his wife Charlye. His brother Sam Trujillo and his sister, Karen Salas. Two nephews and two nieces. Four great nephews and one great niece.
We honor Steve for his service to our country and to the Corps and ask that you honor his life by keeping his memory alive.
