The family of Robert Emmet Luedeke has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey.

It will be our honor to do so.

Robert was born on 14 April 1929 in Buffalo, New York.

Robert joined the military at an incredibly young age in the midst of World War II working as a Hospital Corpsman. He was discharged to complete his education.

Robert was a U.S. Navy Corpsman during World War II. He was in the military from 30 April 1946 to 16 July 1946 and was honorably discharged due to being underage. He was entitled to wear the World War II Victory Medal. Robert was a Hospital Apprentice (E-2) at the time of his honorable discharge from the U.S. Naval Hospital, Naval Training Center, Bainbridge, Maryland.

After the military, Robert completed high school education and became a truck driver. He married Edna and had two children, Robert and Marci. In the late seventies, he married Pam.

Throughout his life, he enjoyed car racing, truck driving, collector car sales, antique toy collecting, and gun collecting.

Robert is survived by daughter Marci, son-in-law Mike, and step-daughter Lisa. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. His son Robert passed away in 1985.
