The family of A1C Austin Davis, 21, and the US Air Force have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero from the mortuary to the airport for his journey home to Pennsylvania for burial.  It will be our honor to do so.

A1C Austin Davis enlisted in the Air Force shortly after graduating High School, and was serving with the 412 Operations Squadron at Edwards AFB near Lancaster, CA. 

Sadly he unexpectedly passed away, and will be returned home to Bellefonte, PA for burial.

Austin is survived by family, friends and his Air Force family, he will never be forgotten.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero from the mortuary to the airport, approx 76 miles. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the airport, we will meet you there.

1545 – Flag Line for dignified transfer of Hero to coach.

1800 – Estimated arrival American Airlines Cargo

1815 – Flag Line as Hero removed from coach and prepared for departure.

This mission involves an aircraft departure. Departure times can change at the last minute so please check this thread for any last-minute changes before leaving.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
