The family of Larry Alan Goldsmith, age 73, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany this Hero and be present to honor him for his service.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Larry Alan Goldsmith, 73 years old from Yuma, AZ served in the United States Air Force from June 2, 1967 to Jan 7, 1971 in Puerto Rico and Lompoc, CA. He worked with the Military Police and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant.

Larry's experience as a military police officer inspired him to continue a life of service. After the military he was a Police Officer for the Los Angeles Police Department for 20 yrs before retirement, then went to work for City of Orange PD for 16 yrs, retiring as a Detective.

Larry was a musician/singer, loved playing guitar and singing Rock N Roll, and he was a master gardener, he had the most beautiful yard in his neighborhood, he could make anything grow. It is especially significant to Larry's family that the PGR will accompany him on his last ride, as he loved riding his Harley.

Larry is survived by his wife Sharon and 2 daughters Kerie and Lauren.
