The family of Dennis Carl Gabrielli have asked for the Patriot Guard Riders to pay Honors to this American Hero and to bring him home. It will be our Honor to do so with all of the respect we have.

Dennis was born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 4, 1941 to Constantino and Lena. Dennis passed due to complications from COVID 19 at Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center on January 3, 2021 at the young age of 79

After graduating High School, Dennis enlisted the the United States Marine Corps on 30 Nov 1959.  Dennis was stationed most of his time at El Toro Marine Corps Air Station with the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing as a VMT-2 Jet Mechanic. Dennis was awarded a Good Conduct Medal.
Dennis received his Honorable Discharge on 29 Nov. 1965 at the rank of Cpl.

Upon completion of his time with the Marines, Dennis knew he still wanted to serve. So that sense of service turned his direction to head to the police academy to become an officer to help serve and protect. Upon completion of the academy Dennis was assigned to the Westminster Police Dept. This was a journey that would take 30 yrs for him to complete all the while enjoying everything he did. He was assigned badge # 1 which he wore until his retirement.

Being a Police Officer defined his life, he loved to serve and protect the community. In retirement he continued to serve the county serving as a security guard at the Orange County Fair Grounds.

Through his many years of service Dennis touched many lives many people described Dennis as having a deep sense of fairness and approaching life with a delightful sense of humor.

Dennis loved to travel. He would take annual summer car drives,  the drives allowed him to return to Niagara Falls, in his later years he frequented Yellowstone, and Oklahoma. Dennis loved sports and played Softball into his 60's. Dennis not only loved sports he passed his love on to his children always attending their sporting events.

Dennis provided for his loving family and is survived by his wife of nearly 46 years Diantha, His Children, Sons: Anthony, Mike, Dennis Jr., Daughters: Michelle, Kelly, Kami, Malia, 19 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Family was the most important thing for Dennis he was a loving and generous Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. Dennis was proud of all his children and grandchildren's success. His legacy of service will live on through his children and grandchildren. Dennis passed his love of service on to his children, 2 of his children followed his path into law enforcement, and 3 others work in the public sector in various roles. He will be deeply missed.
