The family of Los Angeles Police Sergeant Amelia “Terry” Martinez and the Los Angeles Police Department invites the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in their loved one's funeral services. We are honored to accept this invitation.

Sgt Martinez was a 27 year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department and assigned to Hollenbeck Area.

Sadly, Sgt Martinez passed away on 12 JAN 21 due to COVID 19 complications. Her superior Officer is quoted as saying "Sgt Martinez was a bright shining star for Hollenbeck Division. Her passing is a loss for not only her brothers and sisters here in the Department, but for the people of Los Angeles who she dedicated her life to protecting and serving."

Sergeant Martinez is survived by her sons, Robert and Steven; daughter, Amanda Lara; her mother and several siblings.
