The family of Jose Rogelio Rivera (Roy), age 53, has invited the Patriot Guard to accompany him on a Celebration of Life and Memorial Ride. It is our honor to do.
Roy served in the U. S. Army and Army National Guard from 1986 to 2000 as a Radio Operator. He earned a Parachute Badge, Army Service Ribbon, M-16 Rifle Expert and Hand Grenade Expert. Roy held the rank of E-4 at the time of his honorable discharge.
After his service to our country Roy worked as a cabinet maker for 35 years. At this time he also developed his love for riding motorcycles. He often got lost in the wind riding his Harley. Roy was also an Executive Director of Broken Chains JC, a fellowship of bikers who have found healing in Jesus Christ.
Roy is survived by his wife Lisa, four children and seven grand children.
Roy was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all those that knew him.
