The family of ET1 Timothy Blain Sprague has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.
Timothy proudly served 20 years in the U.S. Navy, 1980-2000 when he retired. He achieved the rank of E6-ET1 and was a veteran of the Gulf War. He was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal (2), Navy achievement Medal (4), Good Conduct Medal (5), Meritorious Unit Commendation, Navy Expeditionary Medal (2), Recruiting Service Ribbon, Southweat Asia Service Medal (2), Kuwait Liberation Medal (2). He was a submariner and loved his time in the Navy.
Timothy loved wood working and spending time with family. Always very active in the Veterans community he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars for many years and was the San Diego VFW District 1 Commander in 2010 to 2011. He retired from Raytheon where he worked as a Defense Contractor, in 2014.
Timothy is survived by his wife: Vicki, Daughters; Shannon and Tanya Sprague, Step Daughter; Laura Sims and Stepson; Michael Knight, Step Granddaughter; Keara Pence and Step Grandson; Jimmy Carroll.
