We have very sadly lost one of our cherished PGR members, William "Bill" Forrey, AKA "Snorey", a long time and very active member.  We have been invited by his wife Carol "Spychick" to help her in giving Bill the send off he deserves, we are honored to do so.

Bill was born January 26, 1954 and left this earth April 20, 2021 to be with his Lord and all those that have traveled that journey before him.

Bill joined the PGR in 2014 and has always been a very active member, attending as many missions as he could possibly go to, along with his wife Carol in most cases.  He was always there with a beautiful smile welcoming other members and standing with his flag held high with pride, honoring the Heroes.

William Robert Forrey loved his country. Bill’s greatest regret is that he was unable to serve in the military. He took that regret and shaped it into a life that served the military. His commitment to PGR resulted in approximately 400+ missions over the seven years he was a member. Bill proudly flew the big American flag from his Harley Road King at missions.

Bill was also a member of the Navy League from 1995 to 2021 and was Past President, Past Treasurer, and Board Member of that esteemed organization. During Bill’s 25 years with the the United States Navy League, Orange County Council, he served as liaison to several adopted military units in including SUBRON 11, SSN Salt Lake City, SSN Helena, SSN Albuquerque, NWS China Lake, USMC Miramar, USCGC Narwhal, just to name a few.

He was passionate about veteran’s rights so he recently joined the Sons of The American Legion and the American Legion Riders. He was active in both.

If not serving in the military was Bill’s greatest regret, his greatest joy were his sons, Matthew and Andrew. Together they enjoyed baseball, hiking, fishing and spending time together. Bill was married twice, first to Kathy, who preceded him in death. Bill was confident he would see her again in heaven.

He is survived by his beloved 2nd wife, Carol "Spychick" along with his sons Matthew and Andrew and their wives. Bill had 3 grandchildren, Lucas, Jonah and one due in August.  Also, his sister Anne and her family. Nathan, who he loved as a son, and Carol's children and grandchildren who will miss their "Grampa Bill".

Snorey will be missed by all those that knew him, and just couldn't help but love him, we were all blessed to know him, however briefly.  He leaves a lasting legacy with all of us, he will never be forgotten.
