The family of Paul Patrick Guilfoyle has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Paul was born in New York City, New York on 20 August 1935 and entered into Eternal Rest on 08 March 2020.

Paul was in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1958. Paul was trained as an ACW (Aircraft Control and Warning Radar) operator at Keesler AFB, Biloxi, Mississippi.  Paul was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and was honorably discharged as an Airman First Class.

At the time of his honorable discharge, Paul was stationed with the 763rd Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron, Lockport Air Force Station, New York. These radar sites were mostly at remote locations around the United States watching for Russian bombers during the Cold War. Lockport was a Cold War Air Force Radar Station first established in 1951 near Lockport, Niagara County, New York.

After the military, Paul became an Electrical Engineer and worked for Douglas Aircraft and TRW (Aerospace Industry).

Paul is survived by his wife Esther, four children, twelve grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
