Per request of David Luyben from Evans-Brown Mortuary, the family of Eike H. Hohenadl has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey.
Captain Hohenadl was born in Germany on 20 August 1941 and entered into eternal rest on 25 April 2014.
Captain Hohenadl emigrated to the United States in 1956. After graduating from Rossville High School in Georgia he joined the U.S. Navy which was the start of a thirty-five year career, retiring as a U.S. Naval Intelligence Officer with the rank of Captain.
Some of Eike’s favorite pastimes included travel, science, the military and skydiving. Eike had a passion for skydiving and had almost 6000 jumps.
Captain Hohenadl is survived by his wife, Joyce Ann, a son Eike Alan and brothers Udo and Leroy. He also leaves behind many relatives, friends, the close-knit skydiving community and his beloved kitties, Casper and Mystic. Eike will always be remembered for his kindness and caring.
